Pure enjoyment in the snow
In winter, the Rastkogelbahn, which is almost right outside your door, will take you up to the Ski- & Gletscherwelt Zillertal 3000. Save yourself the car and bus journeys, searching for parking spots, and tedious wait times at the ticket office! You can get your lift ticket right at the hotel’s reception desk. The Rastkogel ski area is connected to the surrounding Eggalm, Finkenberg, and Penken ski areas and thus guarantees unlimited skiing fun for all ability levels to suit every taste.
The free ski bus to the Hintertux Glacier, which will take you to the Gletscherbahn lift, stops right across from our hotel and runs every 10 minutes.
Thanks to the high-altitude location at an elevation of 3,230 meters, snow is guaranteed here, and nature is solely responsible for the white winter landscapes. A special attraction is the “Gletscherrunde”! With its 72 km of ski runs and 15,000 vertical meters, it is a fascinating challenge for a day trip!
Unlimited skiing fun
Every day, over 200 km of slopes offer a new experience without wait times, and snow is guaranteed throughout the year with powder snow from October to May. The ski runs to Hintertux, Lanersbach, and Vorderlanersbach are also equipped with snow machines.
