Ziller Nature Park

Valuing & preserving nature

The 3,609-meter-high Hochfeiler is one of the most impressive natural & cultivated landscapes in Tyrol. Your vacation resort of Tux is part of the nature park region, and you can feel this special atmosphere that can only be found in Alpine villages.

As a member of the Zillertal Alps Nature Park, guests at Hotel Alpenjuwel**** have the opportunity to exclusively take advantage of the attractive program of the Zillertal Nature Park.

Unique habitat

Depending on factors such as altitude, exposure, geological conditions, or the history of the origin of the respective location in the nature park, you will find a variety of habitats as well as plant and animal species.

Due to the vertical expansion of the high mountain nature park, there is a large number of habitats, and the flora and fauna are very diverse. Glaciers cover a considerable part of the nature park in the Zillertal Alps and have always shaped the landscape. In addition to natural factors, people have also had an impact on today’s image of the natural and cultivated landscape. Man’s way of life and farming practices can be seen in the landscape and make up the charm of the diverse and romantic mountain landscape, especially in the Alps.
